Successor To Fr. Aurelius Maschio sdb
The Salesian Superiors had appointed Rev. Fr. Joseph Casti, sdb. to take over the charitable activities during Fr. Maschio's hospitalisation in 1995.
Fr. Aurelius Maschio is now succeeded by Fr. Joseph Casti, sdb a veteran Salesian Born in Italy at Rieti, near Rome in 1931 and came to India already a Priest in 1958. His first years of missionary service in Goa, Administrator and Rector of Don Bosco School at Pan.iim; the following years as Rector of Don Bosco Institutions at Lonavia, Nashik and Matunga, as Rector of Provincial House. Since 1991 he was closely associated with the work of Fr. Maschio and now he continues the charitable activities initiated by them.
We appeal to our friends and benefactors to continue supporting our Don Bosco Missions which provide for 40 Institutions and Projects for welfare of poor. orphans, street children, poor destitute, lepers etc. in Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka. now under the care of Fr. Joseph Casti. sdb.
